The answer is yes! well its really pretty simple to do but you will need to remember that you can fool your device settings but you can't fool the phone itself. Why? We'll this tweak will allow you to play Armv7 games on your galaxy y, it surely will do. The downside is some Armv6 games that is installed or your planning to install will not work anymore (device not compatible issue). Please see terms and conditions.
I will guide you through the process of making impossible things possible. Here's how:
1. make sure you root your phone (see root tab on this site to learn how)
2. Download from this site ROOT explorer
3. Use it and go to /system, then on upper right hand side corner tap on r/w
4. tap and long press build.prop and look for Open using text editor
5. rename this
ro.product.cpu=armeabi
to
ro.product.cpu=armeabi-v7a
then restart your phone. Goodluck
Is it safe?
