To use your Galaxy Y and unlock it's full features, you will need to enter a valid gmail account. But if you want to delete the account from the phone, you will just need to follow these simple steps:

Just download Root explorer from this website, find it on apps tab

Open Root explorer and explore /data/system/ and find file named accounts.db

Delete accounts.db and reboot your phone
