(ROM) Evolution-X with Custom Kernel and ext-4 support

This is a new custom ROM built to change your Galaxy Y's user interface with settings and new tweaks. Really an interesting one since it has lots to offer including a custom kernel that allows you to change your CPU's frequency, that is to overclock and underclock your phone's CPU. It also has support for ext-4 format for your SD card which is great.

Anything you do that damages your phone due to not following the instructions is not my problem. Please read terms and conditions before installing this ROM since it will damage your device if your not careful.

-This is a barebones rom.It's debloated aggressively and the apks are optimized.
As a result, there is around 90+ mb free in the system partition.
- Scrolling cache is disabled for smoother scrolling.
3.Lidroid toggles.
- The kernel by savie has 4 usable frequencies.
832MHz,624MHz,468MHz,and 312MHz.
5.13 governers, 5 I/O schedulers are added.
- Droid wall support.
- Some performance tweaks.
- It has undervolt support.It is undervolted by -120mV by default.


For the change to stick after boot,you should change the value in the init.d script '01bacem-tweak'.
You can change the value '-20mV' to your desired value.Be carefull to put that - sign in there.
This is not for noobs.I repeat,it's not for noobs.It'll easily screw up your phone if you are not carefull.And as a safety limit dont go below -160mV.The default value is pretty agressive.

13.update: Now with ext4 support.Flash the attached 'ext4_modules.zip' through stock recovery or cwm..
It will not convert sd-ext to ext4.You should format it your self.

how: Delete the old browser.apk from system/app/ .Push the browser.apk attached below to the system/app/ and set the permissions rw-r--r--.

How to install:


1.Download the zip file
2.put it on your sd card.
It is recommended that you have a clean sd-ext before flashing this rom.
3.Switch of your phone and reboot into cwm recovery.This is important because if you are using stock recovery it'll get stuck in the splash screen.
4.Wipe data and cache
5.Install the rom zip file through cwm.
6.Again wipe data and cache.
7.Reboot the system and you are good to go.
